“TOP GEAR” SERVICE

When we reconfigured the dealership in response to the pandemic, we took special care to adapt our Service Department to the needs and concerns of our clients as well as our staff. Our goal, using automotive parlance, was to create a “TOP GEAR” experience — like its namesake, delivering the smoothest performance with optimal efficiency. We’re grateful for the many five-star reviews that continue to affirm our customers’ approval.

For those who have yet to visit our Service Department, here’s a preview:

  • As you pull into the clearly marked entrance lane, you’ll be approached by a member of our team to confirm your appointment and collect any appropriate documentation (e.g. license, registration, and if needed, proof of insurance).
  • Moving forward, still in the comfort of your vehicle, you’ll be greeted by your Service Advisor, who will review the work to be performed as well as provide an estimate of the time required.
  • Should you choose to wait, your BMW will receive expedited attention, and you’ll be invited to relax in our customer lounge, with its assortment of complimentary snacks and beverages. If that’s not a realistic option, your Advisor will arrange for a loaner, and you’ll be on your way in minutes.
  • Where appropriate, your technician will send you a narrated video explaining the work to be performed, pointing out any additional issues discovered in the process. It is a priority that all customers are fully informed in real time until the work is completed to your satisfaction.
  • When your vehicle is ready for pickup, you will be sent a text link giving you the opportunity to prepay with your credit card, allowing you to drive off in your freshly-washed BMW without delay. Settling up in person — cash, check or card — is always an option.

We’re proud of the fact that Otto’s continues to set the standard for providing the most skilled and customer-centric Service Department in the region. We look forward to your first (or next) visit.

In other news, we are about to receive an ample supply of 2022 X3s that had been delayed by supply chain issues. Be sure to check out our inventory here online or by contacting your Client Advisor. And of course, the 2023 X3s built in our Spartanburg facility are already here, with many having already found new homes!
